In addition to managing correction and rehabilitation at the county and local levels, the agency runs a community supervision program that addresses less serious offenses. According to the community supervision demographics for 2023, there were 74,645 people behind bars, including 3,452 in community corrections, 12,383 on parole, and 58,810 on probation.

In comparison to the 2022 report, which had 19,026 felons, it shows that there was a 0.0996% decrease in incarcerated individuals in the year 2023.
